- Using CueAPI to schedule or orchestrate attacks on third-party systems via autonomous agents
- Using CueAPI as a coordination layer for botnets, credential stuffing, distributed scraping, or other automated abuse campaigns
- Deploying agents that violate any section of this AUP — agents must respect the same rate limits, content prohibitions, and security rules as human users
Account holder responsibility: You are fully responsible for all actions taken by agents, scripts, or automated systems using your API key. “My agent did it” is not a defense against AUP violations. You are responsible for monitoring your agents' behavior and revoking compromised API keys promptly.
2. Enforcement
2.1 Investigation
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. During an investigation, we may temporarily suspend access to your account to protect the service and other users. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before or during any suspension.
2.2 Immediate Termination
Certain violations result in immediate termination without prior warning. These include but are not limited to:
- Distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Active attacks on CueAPI infrastructure or third-party systems
- Credential theft or unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Any conduct requiring law enforcement notification
For these violations, we will preserve evidence, terminate the account immediately, and report to relevant authorities as legally required.
2.3 Graduated Enforcement
For other violations, we may take one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity and nature of the violation:
- Issue a warning with a deadline to correct the violation
- Temporarily suspend your account
- Permanently terminate your account
- Remove or disable content that violates this policy
- Report activity to law enforcement if required by law or if we believe there is imminent danger
2.4 Termination for Cause
If your account is terminated for violation of this AUP, you are not entitled to a refund of any prepaid fees. We may also prohibit you from creating new accounts.
2.5 Appeal Process
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] within 30 days. We will review your appeal and respond within 14 business days.
3. Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is using CueAPI in violation of this policy, please report it to [email protected]. Include as much detail as possible, including account identifiers, timestamps, and a description of the violation.
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports may be submitted anonymously, but providing contact information allows us to follow up if we need additional details.
4. Relationship to Terms of Service
This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this AUP and the Terms, the more restrictive provision applies. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of CueAPI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
