Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card for the free tier?+
No. Sign up with just an email. 10 active cues, 300 executions per month, 60 API requests per minute. Free forever.
How are executions counted?+
Per delivery attempt, not per cue fire. If a webhook fails and CueAPI retries 3 times, that counts as 3 executions.
What happens when I hit my execution limit?+
24-hour grace period. Cues keep firing during grace. After 24 hours, blocked until next billing cycle or upgrade.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?+
Yes. Upgrades immediate. Downgrades at end of billing period. Excess cues paused, not deleted.
Is there an annual discount?+
Yes. Pro annual $95.88/year (~20% off). Scale annual $470.40/year (~20% off).
Do all plans have the same features?+
Yes. Only differ in volume: active cues, monthly executions, request rate.
Can I use CueAPI without a server or public URL?+
Yes. Install cueapi-worker locally. Pulls work, runs scripts. No public URL needed.
What happens if my webhook endpoint is down?+
3 retries with exponential backoff (1, 5, 15 min default, configurable up to 10). Email notification on total failure.
Is my data secure?+
SHA-256 hashed API keys. HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks. HTTPS. SSRF-validated callbacks.
How accurate is the scheduling?+
Checks every 5 seconds. 2-3 second typical latency. Not sub-second.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Via Stripe billing portal. Access until end of billing period. No partial refunds.
Do you offer custom or enterprise plans?+
Not yet. Contact [email protected]. Custom plans on roadmap.
What payment methods do you accept?+
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe.
Is there an SLA or uptime guarantee?+
